===== About Kulgera =====

**Kulgera** is a locality in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is 275 kilometres (171 miles) south of Alice Springs and 21 kilometres (13 miles) north of the border with **South Australia**, making it the southernmost permanent settlement in the Northern Territory. It sits on the junction of the Stuart Highway and the road to [[area:8:finke|Aputula]]. In the 2006 Australian census it had a population of 50.
